Degree in Medicine and Surgery from the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, 1978.

 

Specialist in Neurology: MIR at Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, 1982.

 

PhD in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Barcelona, 1988. Graduated in Humanities in 2002.

 

Director of the “Unit of Parkinson’s Disease and Movement Disorders“ from the Teknon Medical Center in Barcelona since 1995.

 

Collaborator of the Catalan Association for Parkinson’s (ACAP), the Spanish Parkinson’s Federation, and the Catalan Association for Tourette’s Syndrome. Promoter of the application of complementary therapies in Parkinson’s disease since 1990.

 

Author of several books, book chapters. She has given numerous lectures, communications, and poster presentations.

 

Clinical researcher in various European and local research projects, standing out for her clinical leadership in the European project from which Stat-onR, the “Parkinson’s Holter”, was created.
